Breakfast will be served at the Marriott Raleigh Durham Research Triangle Park on Thursday and Friday morning in the Edison Ballroom. 

Scheduled shuttle service will be available throughout the event to provide transportation between Lenovo Headquarters and the Marriott Hotel.

Lenovo Certification Preparation Workshops

Lenovo Certification Preparation Workshops combined with an exam  will be offered to all attending Partners on, Friday, October 30th. Please review the prerequisites for each exam offered.  You will need your own personal laptop for the exam. 

Candidate Qualifications The exam is intended for professionals that have a basic understanding of data center concepts and at least 12 months of experience selling data center solutions.

Target Persona Lenovo 360 Certified Data Center Sales Professional works as a Lenovo internal or Partner seller. These individuals:

  • Know Lenovo's server, storage, SDI, services, and solutions portfolios and can effectively communicate the Lenovo Data Center strategy and value proposition.
  • Apply their knowledge to recommend Lenovo Data Center solutions that meet customer needs and requirements. This individual can identify and qualify data center sales opportunities.
  • Understand how to have a consultative business conversation and has led or assisted in closing at least one data center opportunity from start to closure.

Recommended Preparation:

  1. The Certification Exam Study Guide will be added the week of Sept 28th.
  2. Prior to the event, consider taking the ‘Online Practice Exam’ that includes questions of similar content and difficulty as questions on the certification exam. Passing the practice exam does not result in certification. However, taking the practice exam can help you determine if you are ready to register for the certification exam, or help identify areas where additional study may be needed.   3. We recommend that you attend the ‘Lenovo 360 Data Center Sales Certification’ preparation bootcamp scheduled the morning on Oct 30th.

This session will provide an overview of the subject material tested in the professional certification exam combined with Q&A. This is an uproctored online certification exam and to take the test, a personal laptop with Wi-Fi connection will be required.

Candidate Qualifications The exam is intended for professionals with a minimum of six months experience in selling storage products and solutions in a technical sales role.

Target Persona Lenovo 360 Certified Storage Technical Professional works as a Lenovo internal or Partner technical sellers. These individuals:

  • Apply their knowledge and experience to differentiate between Lenovo Storage Solutions and help the customer define their data center challenges as they relate to storage.
  • Partner with the customer to determine which Lenovo Storage Solution resolves the customer's business challenge and meets business objectives.
  • Engage with subject matter experts to fill skill gaps such as solution design and sizing for Lenovo Storage solutions.
  • They are proficient in the Lenovo Storage Sizing Tool (LSST).

 Recommended Preparation:

  1. Please review the ‘Certification Exam Study Guide’ for detailed information and recommended training to prepare for the exam.
