Tara is a creative digital transformation leader in NYC Public Schools, focused on building capacity for student-centered, 21st-century learning and sustainable digital ecosystems. She brings deep expertise from her experience as Director of Citywide Ed Tech, applying a learner-centered, co-designed approach to scale impactful programs and technical solutions. Tara leads efforts in ethical AI/GenAI policy and implementation, including the K12 AI Policy Lab with EdSafeAI and development of the AzureOpenAI GenAI Algebra Teaching Assistant. Her work is grounded in equity and aligned with NYC’s vision of bright starts and bold futures for all learners.
