Tara is a veteran educator and current Chief Innovation Officer for Education at Lenovo, where she focuses on transforming education through innovation, professional learning, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and leadership—including roles as Assistant Superintendent in Arlington, VA, and leadership positions at Dell Technologies and ISTE+ASCD—she has driven initiatives in AI strategy, higher education, and educator development. Tara has led AI task forces for states and districts, contributed to national efforts like Teach AI and EdSafeAI, and was recognized among the top Women in AI in EDU by ASU+GSV. She holds a doctorate in Education Leadership and Policy from Vanderbilt University.
